The Scream

Another piece that was part of my exploration of German Expressionism at New Walk Art Gallery in Leicester was The Scream by Edvard Munch. I've always found this piece fascinating, largely because of the potential for misinterpretation; is the central figure the one screaming, or are they reacting to a scream that they can hear nearby?
This was also fun to play with on Prisma, as one of their effects is actually to make an image look as though it is in the style of The Scream, so I have used this filter on my own black and white sketch, to great effect!
